Joanne Weir is a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, cooking teacher, chef and public television personality. Joanne is based in San Francisco and started her cooking career with Alice Waters at Chez Panisse and is recognised as one of America’s leading teachers. Joanne operates a highly successful cooking school in San Francisco with a strong focus on Mediterranean food. Joanne is a fourth generation professional chef who lives, breathes, dreams and thinks food. Her dad called her his “wandering gypsy.” Little wonder her bags are always packed.
