Cooking Classes – 2010
Welcome to our 2010 programme and new presenters this year.
Frank Camorra – MoVida, Alex Kearns – Glebe Point Diner, Nhut Huynh – Snake Bean Asian Diner, Lyndey Milan and Ian Hemphill – Spices, Adriano Zumbo – Café Chocolat, Justine Schofield – Masterchef, David McGuinness – Bourke Street Bakery and Rebecca Kerswell – CoCo Chocolate. I am also thrilled to have Joanne Weir back from San Francisco.
The introduction of the Chef’s Table last year was successful and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We will be repeating this series of private lunches at Perama, Finefish, Balzac, Onde and Sean’s Panaroma.
This year I am taking small groups of twelve, accompanied by leading chefs, to Morocco, France – Belinda Jeffery, Sardinia – Giovanni Pilu, Northern Greece – David Tsirekas and Italy – Stefano Manfredi.
I am also co-hosting a cooking retreat to Lord Howe Island.

Light Provincial and French
As television’s Masterchef runner-up for 2009, Justine’s first love is French food. Here she will show us that not all French food is heavily laced with butter and cream, but can have a lighter touch.

The Greeks love to entertain – so David is opening his restaurant for a special private lunch for Accoutrement. David has devised a menu to showcase his modern approach. The recipes, lunch, wine and opportunity to meet the chef are all inclusive. Places limited to 35 people.

In my opinion, Darren is an outstanding teacher and if you want to introduce the classic flavours of Southern Italy into your cooking – this class should not be missed.

HANDS-ON LAMB
The Butcher and the Chef
In this hands-on class, each participant will learn to bone out a leg and shoulder of lamb and will take home an easy-carve leg of lamb, a rolled lamb rump, a mini lamb roast, a rolled shoulder or boned, marinated shoulder of lamb and a neck fillet. Phillip will also break down a whole lamb in class and Colin will cook a dish for tasting.
The following wineries have generosly given of their time, expertise and will supply us with their wonderful wines to accompany the classes throughout 2009.

If you book more than any four classes, pay 50% deposit now and final payment will be due one week prior to each class.
Bring a Friend
If you book more than six classes, you may bring a friend to one of the classes as my guest. This class must be selected when you book.
